Description
Probably the best-known of all cannabis strains, the pungent Skunk enjoys pre-eminence in the cannabis world and not without good reason. Royal Queen's XL version maintains this great tradition with a flavoursome smoke and a high-yielding, sweet-tasting plant. This baby is a doddle to grow and shows robust stability throughout, a fine and favourite plant.
Details
The Skunk strain is originally a mix of Colombian, Mexican and Afghan landraces, and it led to a completely new generation of marijuana strains. Over the years it has been improved in all departments, and, continuing this development, Royal Queen Seeds brings this classic variety into the modern era with a stable, highly-productive seed.
Royal Queen Seeds Skunk XL feminized marijuana seeds will grow over 1 metre tall, up to 1.5m, yielding a giant main cola. An especially easy plant to maintain, she shows very little stretching during the flower and this, combined with her big bud structure, makes for some superbly heavy yields. This easy maintenance also makes her suitable for both soil and hydro set-ups, especially for Sea/Screen of Green operations.
Indoor grows deliver around 500 g/m2 under a 600w light. Grown outdoors, she prefers a warmer climate such as in Spain, Italy or California and, given the right conditions, will produce over 100 g/plant. Due to her relatively short flowering time she can be grown in more northern latitudes (UK, Netherlands), although not without some compromise in yield.
Flowering can usually be concluded after 7 - 8 weeks, but she can always go a week longer to give an extra kick to the smoke. The effects are a great mix of instant head high with a subtle, creeping body stone. Flavours range from fruity to dank, but reports suggest all blends are hugely enjoyable and matched by gorgeous, lingering aromas.
