Creating Mephisto Genetics Toof Decay Autoflowering feminized cannabis seeds was no easy feat, and took almost four year years of concentration and effort. If you’re interested in the science that underpins such projects, read on!
First, the breeders grew several packs of Sweet Tooth 1.1 in order to create F2s and make a wider pool of plants to take the best selections from. They found a remarkable Sweet Tooth-dominant male which showed hints of colour, and paired him with a highly indica-dominant female, super-compact with an above-average yield of the finest buds.
Next, they grew out the F2s and selected just two from 50 females to pollinate their autoflowering breeding strain. The work continued as they bred to make the strain fully automatic. Perhaps unsurprisingly for an experiment of this magnitude, it took more than one run of the F1 generation to find the perfect plants to progress the project. But, the work paid off, and the breeders are really over the moon with how Toof Decay turned out. We’re sure you will be too!
Toof Decay is an ideal auto strain to pack close together in a Sea of Greet set-up. For such a small-statured plant, the bud/plant ratio is very high and the yield can surprise, too. Plants can show a lot of colour in the leaves, and this can creep into the calyxes, making them truly gorgeous, aesthetically pleasing plants. The resin is thick and sticky, similar to the Sour Crack, and is guaranteed to delight lovers of fine indica goodness.
