We’re told that the breeders inherited an elite female Durban clone from a group of underground growers and decided to flower a batch of them for research purposes. It didn’t take long for them to be well and truly blown away by the results – particularly the pure liquorice aromas that oozed from the flowers of their newly-created strain.
Naturally, they were curious to see what would happen if they crossed this new Durban variety with their trusty Cinderalla 99, and so they set to work. The rest, as they say, is history!
Brothers Grimm Durban x C99 cannabis seeds grow into a big, hybrid plant with a phenomenal growth rate.
This is a classic example of hybrid vigour affecting the offspring: these rippers develop massive, long, thick colas that produce terpene-rich, resin-encrusted buds that are fit for even the fussiest connoisseur. As is often the case when C99 is used to hybridise another strain, the flowering time is reduced and the flavour and scent become fruitier and more floral. A seed worthy of a spot in any collection!
